Situated at the corner of 9th and State Street in Chicago's South Loop, 899 South Plymouth Court serves as the gateway to the Dearborn Park community.  Dearborn Park was designed and constructed as a new, in-town residential community in the mid/late 1970s, and together with Printers Row and the restoration of the historic Dearborn Station, served as the catalyst for redevelopment of the South Loop.  Dearborn Park is characterized by a mix of townhomes, mid-rise and high-rise residences, 2 city parks, mature street trees, and a closed street network.  The "Loop", schools, restaurants & shopping facilities, Museum Campus, Grant Park, and the Lakefront are all within walking distance, and the neighborhood is easily accessed by CTA bus and train services. The first homeowners moved into 899 in 1980, and today, several original and long-term owners continue to call 899 their home.
